The most notable change is the adoption of the new Ground Swat™ camo pattern. We have always been huge fans of wide open, non-situation specific camo patterns, and when we ran across this one we knew it was a winner. Click here to see the old Predator pattern up against the new Ground Swat. During our field testing in 2007, it outperformed every other pattern we have tested. When you check out the photos below, you’ll see why. Developed by stealing shapes straight from mother nature, Pattern Masters was able to produce a pattern that simply blends into more terrains than we thought possible. This pattern will undoubtedly help you be even more successful when hunting from the ground.-Brooks Johnson

The new Dark Horse features Primos Double Bull’s Silent Slide™ windows system which spans a full 180 degress across the front of the blind and adjusts from 1″ to 20″ vertically. You can “open” the window or cover it with shoot-through netting. The back half of the Dark Horse has a black interior to eliminate “profiling” and maximize concealment. Four shooting ports and two viewing ports provide shooting and viewing to the rear without compromising concealment.

08-mossy-oak-pse.jpgIt’s not easy to get Pete Shepley and Toxey Haas together in a conference room, but in a hunting camp is another story. And that’s where the ideas for the completely redesigned Mossy Oak X were developed, around the fire in a Texas hunting camp. The new Mossy Oak® X incorporates X-Technology to create a bow that is extremely fast, forgiving, and free from vibration. It possesses all the qualities that the legendary hunting team at Mossy Oak® demand. A totally redesigned riser and thinner wood grip combine with 12 inch split limbs, a 35-1/8 inch axle-to-axle length and forgiving 7 inch brace height come together to create an incredibly easy to shoot 330 fps bow that is sure to be one of our most popular bows ever. MADE IN THE U.S.A.

Women Can Bowhunt Too

Woman BowhunterHunting with bows by women showed a 4.4 percent increase from 2001-06. Other spikes were for tackle football (I kid you not) off-road mountain biking, golf and skateboarding. Racquetball, fishing and paintball games were the top three in percentage growth for women.

These are some surprising and interesting statistics. What a cool story though. I’ve never seen a woman bowhunting but you always hear about them. It seems like the patience part might be a big hurdle but apparently not really big.

Bows, Bows & Bows

BowsWhether it’s compound bows or all kinds of bows I know that when it’s time to boy hunting supplies and accessories there’s nowhere better than My Discount Archery Store. The prices, service and quality make for a great buying experience. The fast and easy shipping just add to the overall benefit of shopping with you guys.

I’m thankful that I get to avoid the dip-sticks in the sporting goods stores around here. At least the ones that are still in business since Wal-Mart moved in. I don’t know what’s worse, that these major deep discount stores put smaller businesses out of business or the fact that it’s now impossible to buy almost anything that isn’t cheap, low-quality plastic.

More Than Just Great Prices

Bow and ArrowsAs I continue to do business with you guys I am increasingly impressed with not only the quality of the products and the competitive prices. See, when I go to normal sporting goods stores it can be really difficult to find good quality hunting supplies. That includes all types of bows, arrows and more. The problem for me is that when I hunt I need a very specific type of arrow.

With the wealth of knowledge you guys have it was very easy for me to find exactly what I needed exactly when I needed it. No more having to duel with some high-school clerk who couldn’t care less if he was selling arrows or home décor. Good service is a plus and you guys have it down!
